Regrettably the Market Square Group and Zoom Events, who were organising this event, have made the very difficult decision to postpone this years event until 2023.
Guildford Lions are hugely disappointed, especially as The Prostate Project were the chosen charity for the event. Below is the statement they have issued.
If you have purchased tickets you have the option of an immediate refund or alternatively tickets can be transferred to next years event – please email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
Again we are very sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience caused
Whilst we have received an enthusiastic response for a family friendly music festival in the Guildford Groove, we have reluctantly taken the decision to postpone this event until 2023. Our preparations for the event were impacted by a number of factors, not least the Omicron Covid variant which delayed the start of our promotional activity at the beginning of the year. On top of this we now have the cost of living crisis and global issues which mean we have concluded that we may not be able to deliver this event to our usual high standards this year. Our faith in this project has not diminished but rather than fight against all odds, we feel it will be better to reschedule for 2023. We will continue to work in partnership with the Guildford Lions over the coming year to deliver a fantastic music festival in 2023 – stay tuned for some exciting future announcements! Early bird tickets will be transferred to next year’s event and re-issued nearer the time once a date is confirmed or refunded immediately upon request – please email email@example.com for assistance. We apologise for any disappointment this causes but look forward to welcoming you again in 2023.
Exciting changes to our traditional Spring Fayre on Shalford Park.
