Active Surrey

Ideas to help those stuck at home
Being out of our normal routine can be unsettling. Apart from getting our once-a-day dose
of outdoor exercise, helping the NHS by staying at home could make us feel sluggish and out
of sorts.
Making a conscious effort to move more can improve our mood and help mental wellbeing.
More than ever, Government advice on social distancing stresses the need to exercise
appropriately and get fresh air and sunlight, even if that’s just in the garden.
To give you some inspiration, we’ve listed some ideas to help keep you active at home,
whether you’re a lone home worker, a family or an older resident. Take a look and share
your own ideas on our Facebook or Twitter feeds, or show us what you’re up to on Instagram.
